ideas are Revolutionary.
Tide Talks is a campus organization at the University of Alabama that provides a platform for student speakers to share revolutionary ideas. We are recruiting speakers and performers for out upcoming event. |
Our Process
We accept nominations for speakers and performers for upcoming events on a rolling basis. We begin interviewing and selecting speakers 5-6 weeks before an event, while performer selections takes place 3-4 weeks before an event. Speakers are selected based on their ability to articulate and communicate their revolutionary idea to an audience. Interested speakers and performers are encouraged to self-nominate below.

Nominate a student who is unique, thought-provoking, and engaging. We want to celebrate our most revolutionary peers at The Capstone.

IDEAS WORTH SHARING.
TEDxUniversityofAlabamaBeginning Fall 2021, Tide Talks will host its first TEDxUniversityofAlabama conference. We are just as passionate about spreading revolutionary ideas as we are about promoting ideas worth sharing. Our Executive Board member Nick Hayes got licensed by TED to host an independently organized event (TEDx) right here on campus. This conference will be the first of its kind at UA and differ from a typical Tide Talks event as it will feature community members and faculty members in addition to student speakers. We hope you will join us in January 2023 at our annual TEDxUniversityofAlabama. |
