LEARN THE STORY.

Ideas are revolutionary.

Founded in Spring 2013, Tide Talks was created by students for students. Tide Talks provide a unique opportunity for students at the University of Alabama to share their experiences, trials, and successes during their time at school. The speakers for Tide Talks will tell their story in front of a live audience and in front of the camera. Each Tide Talks event will feature four diverse speakers from four different parts of campus to share their University of Alabama experience.

Tide Talks mission as a creative, engaging and respected interface for students to express their authentic person narratives, will:
  • Galvanize the often disjointed breadth of student experience by highlighting in-depth specific student success stories.
  • Provide a prestigious, unbiased platform for innovative ideas that spark dialogues across campus.
  • Celebrate and uplift the reputation of the University of Alabama as a center of fresh perspectives worthy of distribution and discussion.

Tide Talks welcomes any and all views.  Each event strives to find unheard perspectives from the UA community.

Do you believe you or someone you know has an experience to share? If so, apply now and nominate a speaker. Nominate any student (junior or above), including yourself, who is unique, thought-provoking, and engaging!
